Rev. Rainy Broms has a degree in Business with a minor in Human
Resource Management and was working in that field while
studying her ministry. She and Rev. Tony Baglioni were planning on
opening a small antique and tea room that he would run while
she worked in her field and came in for readings and classes on
nights and weekends. Plans changed when Rainy fell at work and had a disk
protrusion in her neck. This kept her out of work for a year and
a half before she was put on disability. Tony was already on
disability due to severe arthritis. Spirit kept urging Rainy to
follow her dreams of combining her Ministry with her livelihood
and to walk with Spirit everyday. So, with the small amount of money from her settlement
and selling their house, they took a leap of faith and
opened the Rainy's Mystics Books & Gifts on July 5, 2004. It was and is their vision to
build a Spiritual Community for all different paths with
honesty, integrity, self-responsibility, peace, love, healing and
most importantly, Spiritual Growth.
Unfortunately, due to the change in economy, Rainy's Mystics Books and Gifts Store closed it's doors on February 27, 2007 after a very successful community building 31/2 years. During this time they helped to form Community Spiritualist Church (CSC) and its School of Mystics. Rainy's mediumship and healing classes have doubled in size and have waiting lists. Her injury that took her out of the corporate world is 98% healed. Rainy and Tony view the changes in 2008 as blessings meant to move them forward on their paths, letting go of the retail aspect of Rainy's Mystics while focusing on the individual sessions, CSC and its classes/services.
