Dear Spiritual Friends and Valued Clients;

            There are a lot of changes happening here at Rainy’s Mystics. The City of San Marcos is requesting that we have use permits for our classes as they have grown. Many students have been requesting more advanced level counseling and Spiritual classes. As such, Revs. Tony Baglioni, Nina Johnston, Mystics Jan McArthur, Jamie Kasper, and I have hired a lawyer to start Community Spiritualist Church (CSC). We are in the process of incorporating and getting our non-profit status. CSC is a different entity than Rainy’s Mystics, and will be taking over all the classes and renting the class space from the store. Rainy’s Mystics will still sell books, crystals, jewelry, etc. and have readings.

CSC will have three services a month: The first Sunday of every month starting in August for Healing and Worship, and 2 Friday night Meditation services starting in July. In addition, CSC has a School of Mystics that offers three certificate programs: Certified Mystic Medium, Certified Mystic Healer, and Certified Mystic Master (who will be trained to teach all of our classes). In addition, CSC and the School of Mystic will have ordination for those who wish to continue their spiritual path as a Reverend and completes all Ministerial Courses. The courses include: Level One for personal transformation and empowerment. It allows people to get to know the basics of metaphysics, spirituality, mediumship, healing and personal growth in 40 weeks; Level Two is for Community Empowerment and Level One must be complete before taking any of the Level Two classes (though we will grandfather in those students who have already be taking classes on both levels). It allows people to step up to their next level of understanding and gain the knowledge and tools needed to use their gift of Spirit within their community in 40 weeks; and Level Three is for Global Empowerment and All of Level Two must be completed before any of the Level Three Classes can be taken. It allows people to fully step into their power as a Spiritual Teacher on this Earth with all of the responsibility and joys that that brings in 40-80 weeks depending on scheduling and the time the student is available. While prices will be going up for the program, there will be a sliding scale when possible as funded by the scholarship fund. This will earn money through student fairs which gives all students more time to practice what they are learning both in healing and mediumship. There will always be all level of classes running so you should always be able to get what you need, including non-credit classes such as Angel Speak, 3rd Eye, Wicca, etc.

While this is a long and expensive endeavor, we believe that we will be able to provide better service and more opportunity for growth for you in the long run. As part of the rental agreement, Rainy’s Mystics will continue to make the calendars and is donating space on its website for church information until such time the church can get its own. The approximate breakdown of costs to start the church is as follows: Lawyer $3000, Use Permit $1000, State and Federal application and filing fees $550, Printing $300 for a total of $4850.
