Goals Update

Wow! I can't belive how long it has been since I have written in my Blog. The first thing I want to do us update on my goals set on March 16, 2007. Since then I have lost 30 pounds and have quit smoking. Because of all of my stress I have not met my goal weight, but I am consistantly eating better and feeling healthier. I can honestly say that I no longer feel like such a hypocrite when discussing Nutrition and keeping your temple as pure as possible so you you can be a clearer channel. My doctor is impressed and I plan on loosing another 30 pounds this year to be around my goal weight.

Another goal set last year was the church and the school of mystics. I am happy to say that the school of Mystics is going strong, but our non-profit status is a little more difficult. Unfortunately, the lawyer we hired did not only send the paperwork late, but also did not complete the paperwork properly. We are now having to redo some of it and send it in. I hope to have this solved shortly. We spent last week and Sunday streamlining the School of Mystics so Levels 1 and 2 are now only 30-weeks each and Level 3 is only 40-weeks total. Level 3 can be done faster depending on the availability of the student.

I spoke on Sunday about Faith. Some of you know that Rev. Nina was in a car accident, she has wiplash, but nothing is broken or bleeding, my daughter was sick so Tony had to stay home, and I didn't have a talk prepared since it was Nina's weekend. That is what I love about Spirit. Jamie Kasper and Keeta Thompson stepped forward into the roles of Lead Healer and chairperson and Spirit lead me to an older Sermon I had written about 3 years ago and helped me to modify it on the fly. So much of us are going through big changes and are not able to see what is going to happen next. There is so much fear and so much loss. Please remember that Faith is the knowing that God, People, and Spirit is there for you and you can have faith in yourself and your abilities to overcome any challenge.
